After much taste testing, meetings with spoons, smiles, and even more delicious, chunky (and we mean CHAH-UN-KEY) ice cream, we arrived at what we think is the perfect set of steps to help you make the most of our newest flavor on offer in Auckland, New York Super Fudge Chunk. Turns out, all we needed was a little help from our friends on the other side of the world…
Who better to give us advice than those from NYC?
Some people can handle the chunk, some can’t. So when it comes to our New York Super Fudge Chunk, you can’t help but wonder if there’s a right, or wrong way to eat it? Fellow Kiwi’s, we believe in your capacity to chunk. We believe… you can handle… New York Super Fudge Chunk!
Where do you even start?
A spoon. Your hands. Play with it a little. Probably your mouth at some point! These are all great options. In fact, there’s actually no wrong way to eat New York Super Fudge Chunk. The only exception we’d make is when eating the chunks themselves. Words of advice from our New York friends is that you should eat them a little bit at a time if you’re feeling a little intimidated by the chunk factor. On that note, one question you’re bound to ask is…
What makes it so...chunky?
To put it simply, it’s the glorious combination of white chocolate, dark chocolate & heaps of nuts coming together. We didn’t think there was going to be enough room for our chocolate-covered almonds, walnuts and pecans… but somehow we managed to fit them in… all of them. And somewhere amongst all of that, we found a way to add enough creamy chocolate ice cream to make your mouth water and heart melt.
Control the chunk to ice cream ratio!
When it comes to actual, practical tips on how to tackle New York Super Fudge Chunk, a good one is to make sure the chunk to ice cream ratio is controlled. If you do tend to overdo it, it’s worthwhile having a friend or someone you trust close by to help handle, catch and maybe pass back all those left-over chunks. Wouldn’t want them to go to waste now, would we?
